Agora Madrid International School is a private international school located in Villaviciosa de Odón, Madrid, committed to academic excellence, holistic education, and personalised learning for every student. The school offers all educational stages from Early Years to Sixth Form, including the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). We are currently seeking a Philosophy, Educational Support in English & ELE Teacher to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and inspiring Philosophy Teacher to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to academic excellence, student success and continuous school improvement.
- Teach Philosophy classes in Secondary and/or Sixth Form.
- Deliver Educational Support lessons in English.
- Teach ELE (English Language Enrichment) in English.
- Monitor and support students' academic and personal development.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Philosophy or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status, PGCE, Master's Degree in Secondary Education, or equivalent teaching qualification.
- C1 level of English (or equivalent).
- Previous experience teaching Philosophy and/or subjects in English.
- Experience in international schools or the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework will be highly valued.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
- Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and the wellbeing of all students.
