About Teacher Jobs World
Teacher Jobs World is a job board for teachers, school leaders and TEFL teachers. It lists teaching jobs worldwide at international and English-language schools, and every ad is in English.
Who runs this
Teacher Jobs World is an independent project and part of Borderless Devs, a group of 8 English-language job boards that run on the same software:
- Germany Dev Jobs
- France Dev Jobs
- Spain Dev Jobs
- Poland Dev Jobs
- Gulf Dev Jobs
- RigJobsDirect
- Nurse Jobs World
- Teacher Jobs World (this board)
When an employer pays to feature a job, it is shown at the top of job lists and always carries a “Featured” label. All other jobs are in the order you choose (newest, best match for your search or highest salary), and paying doesn't change what we check or what we show about a job or a company.
How jobs are checked
Every day we read job ads directly from the careers pages and applicant tracking systems of the companies we list. Then we check each ad:
- We only list ads written in English.
- We check whether you need to speak the local language, and at what level. Jobs that ask for business-level, fluent or native local language aren't listed; “Local language is a plus” is fine.
- We show visa sponsorship or relocation support only when the ad or the company itself says so. We never assume it.
- We check whether you can apply from abroad.
- We show the salary only when the employer states it. We never estimate salaries.
- When an employer closes a job or takes it off their careers site, it comes off our lists at the next daily check, and its page says it's no longer accepting applications.
You apply on the employer's own website. We never see your CV. Browse all jobs or read our guides on visas, salaries and moving abroad.
Who writes the guides
Jordan Ellis, pen name of the editorial team
Jordan Ellis is the pen name of the Teacher Jobs World editorial team, not one person. The guides are researched and written with AI assistance, checked against the official sources linked in each guide, and reviewed when the rules change.
How often this is updated
- Jobs: checked every day.
- Guides: reviewed when the rules they describe change, such as visa salary thresholds or tax rates. The date each guide was last updated is shown under its title.
