GEMS Cambridge High School Abu Dhabi is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Business Studies & Economics Cover Teacher to join our Secondary School team on a 2-month contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, ensuring continuity of learning, and maintaining high academic standards while covering a temporary staff absence.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Business Studies and Economics to students in Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (IGCSE and AS/A Level).
- Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with curriculum requirements and school expectations.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to support achievement.
- Maintain accurate attendance, assessment, and student records.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic success.
- Uphold GEMS Education policies, including safeguarding, behaviour management, and health and safety procedures.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent communication, and school activities as required during the contract period.
