Your Role
EF (Education First) Cambridge Clare College Summer School is seeking dedicated and outgoing TEFL English Teachers to join our team for summer 2027.
Position Details:
- Full-time
- 6 days a week
- Fixed-term contract between late June – mid August 2027 (minimum two-week commitment)
- Accommodation and full board available if necessary

Responsibilities
- Inspire international students to improve their English in fun, communicative lessons
- Plan, prepare and deliver effective lessons to diverse groups of learners
- Track student attendance, assess progress and provide regular feedback
- Facilitate testing and maintain academic records
- Participate in teacher briefings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative academic team environment
- Ensure the successful delivery of a three-day, overnight residential programme in London at the end of the students’ programme
- Act as an ambassador for EF
Requirements
- Available between June-August 2027
- CELTA (or equivalent) qualified
- Excellent communication skills
- Sensitive to the needs of international students
- Confident in teaching young learners (13-17)
- Demonstrates a high level of customer service
- Has strong administrative and organisational skills
- All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
- Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment
- C2 level of English
