Position Overview
We are welcoming applications from outstanding High School Music Teachers interested in joining Dubai American Academy with an immediate start.
We are particularly keen to hear from experienced American curriculum and/or IB educators who are passionate about academic excellence and inspiring confident, curious learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and interactive Music lessons to high school students, following the school's curriculum and educational standards.
- Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire a love for Music and foster critical thinking skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Ensure continuity in the delivery of curriculum content.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment opportunities and professional learning.
