### ROLE SUMMARY:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge and a passion for engaging students in the subject. ### KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Deliver high-quality ESS and Humanities lessons across secondary year levels (IGCSE and IBDP).
- Foster inquiry-based learning and real-world application of environmental and social concepts
- Design and assess learning experiences that support students’ academic growth
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum design and interdisciplinary learning
- Contribute to the wider school community through co-curricular and pastoral support
- Carry out additional duties as required by Secondary School leadership, contributing to the broader school community and corporate life

### THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Geography, Humanities, Social Sciences, or a closely related field
- Teaching qualification/license in the teaching subject
- At least 3 years of secondary teaching experience at international schools
- Experience teaching IB Diploma ESS at SL and/or HL
- Experience teaching Humanities (e.g., Geography, History, or Individuals & Societies)
- Ability to deliver inquiry-based, student-centred learning
- Ability to differentiate for students with different levels of ability
